At first as an intermittent tenant because of the military constraints that remained on this state-owned area, then little by little, the company took a foothold on the immense 486 hectare platform. The teams followed and participated in the slow evolution of the site, which became an airfield again in 2008.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In 2011, the Regional Council had six hangars built on the northern front of the airfield. This was ten years ago. All year round, these hangars are busy with the maintenance and servicing of planes, helicopters, an aerial photography company and museum, the Ulm club, the glider club, the aircraft club and the soft wing club. And of course the G hangar, the sixth one, which shelters the A\u00e9roMus\u00e9e, the headquarters of Pil\u00e2tre de Rozier Organisation, the balloon hangar and the maintenance workshop.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">More than thirty people work on the North front all year round, not counting the hundreds of pilots, trainees and students who use the hundred or so aerostats and aircraft based there. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Ten years already\u00a0 The Pil\u00e2tre de Rozier Organisation showed up\u00a0 in 1992 on the former Chambley Air Base.
