On the occasion of European Heritage Days, the Aeromusee Pil\u00e2tre de Rozier on Chambley aerodrome will be open at night on September Saturday 15th, until 10:00pm<\/strong>. An extraordinary moment: during all the evening, the guide will be no one else than the creator of the Museum<\/strong>. Anecdotes, movie screening, detailed visit, … Everything about the history of Chambley air base during the Americans time<\/strong> (1954-1967) and the hot air balloon from 1983 to nowadays<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Philippe Buron-Pil\u00e2tre, founder of Mondial Air Ballons will be there to answer your question.<\/span><\/p>\n

On September 15th and 16th 2018, heritage is in the spotlight in Europe. These two days are dedicated under the french hashtag #JEP2018 for European Heritage Days 2018. The art of sharing is the theme given this year to the festivities that are announced in the historic or artistic places open to the public. <\/span>A special moment offered to all to discover the heritage of our regions, publicize local actions and their diversity …<\/span><\/p>\n

At Pil\u00e2tre de Rozier Organisation the theme of this year could never displease us! The sharing has always been part of the hot air balloon history. The invention of the balloon by the De Montgolfier brothers was shared to Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Pil\u00e2tre de Rozier, who, once aboard this flying machine shared himself his nacelle and his knowledge to achieve the dream of Icare and fly men and women through the centuries.<\/span>
