Since 1989, every odd year, we are pleased to welcome you to the Chambley airfield (LFJY) for ten days of aeronautical celebration. You come from all over the world, sometimes since the first editions, maybe this year 2023 for the first time. Know that Lorraine and the Grand Est open their arms to you and that the magical spectacle of the mass flight of your hot air balloons is followed by more than 500,000 visitors and by hundreds of media from all continents.<\/p>\n

Registration via the #GEMAB23 Pilot Account.<\/h2>\n

Through the pilot account, you can :<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Create your pilot account, add one or more balloons and additional pilots
    Upload your up-to-date supporting documents (Pilot’s Licence, Medical Certificate, Flight Log, Airworthiness Review Certificate and Balloon Insurance).<\/li>\n
  • It is essential to send us your documents before the end of the registration period (Thursday 30 June 2023).<\/li>\n
  • Select your registration formula (10 days \/ 1st weekend \/ 2nd weekend)
    Book one or more spot at the Pilots’ Square (pilots’ campsite on site). Please note that places are limited.<\/li>\n
  • Purchase additional pilot jackets for each member of your crew (1 free pilot jacket included in the registration).<\/li>\n
