Elle est \u00ab\u00a0faite\u00a0\u00bb Baronne par le Tsar Nicolas II \u00e0 St P\u00e9tersbourg, bless\u00e9e lors du grand meeting de Reims le 8 juillet 1910 et se tue le 18 juillet 1919 en s\u2019entrainant pour la Coupe Femina \u00e0 bord d\u2019un Caudron, en baie de Somme. C\u2019\u00e9tait il y a cent ans\u2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align:right\"><span style=\"color:#888888\"><em><strong>Elise Deroche (1882-1919) was the first woman pilot in the world by receiving on March 8<sup>th<\/sup>, 1910, her license No. 36. Friend with famous Charles Voisin (aircraft manufacturer), she has participated in numerous air shows. She receives the \u00ab\u00a0Baroness\u201d title \u00a0by Tsar Nicolas II in St Petersburg. She is injured during the Reims air show on July 8<sup>th<\/sup>, 1910 and passed away on July 18<sup>th<\/sup>, 1919 while training for the Femina Cup aboard a Caudron (Somme- France).
