Pilote, journaliste, \u00e9crivain, historien, acad\u00e9micien (Acad\u00e9mie de l\u2019Air et de l\u2019Espace), l\u2019homme a \u00e9t\u00e9 omnipr\u00e9sent dans le monde a\u00e9ronautique depuis les ann\u00e9es 1950. Pilote priv\u00e9 en 1939, il devient pilote de chasse aux Etats Unis, apr\u00e8s s\u2019\u00eatre \u00e9vad\u00e9 de France. A la fin de la guerre, apr\u00e8s un accident d\u2019avion, il devient journaliste a\u00e9ronautique et r\u00e9alise une grande carri\u00e8re au sein du GIFAS (de 1952 \u00e0 1980) comme Chef du service de presse. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 un commentateur officiel en vol du Salon du Bourget et c\u2019est \u00e0 lui que la Patrouille de France doit son nom (1953 \u00e0 Alger). Il est auteur notamment de \u00ab\u00a0l\u2019histoire de l\u2019a\u00e9ronautique fran\u00e7aise\u00a0\u00bb (3 volumes parus de 1978 \u00e0 1984).\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align:right\"><span style=\"color:#888888\"><em><strong>Jacques Noetinger died on April 21st at 93. Pilot, journalist, writer, historian, Academician (Academy of the Air and Space), the man was ubiquitous in the aeronautic world since 1950. Private Pilot in 1939, he became a fighter pilot in the U.S., after escaping from France. At the end of the war, after a plane crash, he became an aeronautic journalist and have a great career in the GIFAS (from 1952 to 1980) as Head of Press. He was an official commentator in flight at the the Paris Air Show and it\u2019s thanks to to him that the Patrouille de France owes its name (1953 in Algiers).
