The accommodation race for balloonists

There are those who come back from edition to edition and who book their accommodation two years in advance. Those who know the region and who have already made a reservation, in an AIRBnB, a camping site, a farm or a home stay. And finally those who definitely prefer to stay in a hotel, in Metz, Nancy, Verdun, Pont-à-Mousson and surroundings. Each night, the pilots and their crews need 2,500 beds. That’s more than 25,000 overnights for the ten days. A real race to which the Pilâtre de Rozier organization wished this year, to reinforce its help for the crews. The pilot service animated by Damien Petit (+33(0)382337377 or pilote@pilatre-de-rozier.com) currently lists all the accommodations to help the French and foreigners so that everyone finds a suitable place.
