Well, they still have to observe a 7-day isolation period on arrival due to the Indian (Delta) variant, but it should change favourably from the first of July. The French civil aviation authority has just granted a derogation for British licences associated with non-ICAO compliant medical certificates. The question of ATA carnet still open. The British are historically the second largest contingent of pilots at the Mondial. We definitely like them even if they are no longer European.
We will probably not have any balloonists from the famous red zone (health pass). But The Great Line ascent, even if we may not reach the record numbers of previous years, will still be an exceptional show that we are looking forward to.
