After the party: tidying up
After a fortnight’s break, the team has returned to the office (for those who were away). A colossal task awaits them as it is time to finish tidying up, ranking, drawing up the balance sheets, thanking the participants and above all drawing lessons from an edition “like no other”. A long task to accomplish before the end of the year, while exploring the possible renewal in 2023. Nothing has ever been taken for granted since 1989 and that is the dilemma of such an international meeting. Note that the balloon fans have cleaned out the souvenir shop this year, there are only a few pilot jackets left from this year and previous years.
