#GEMAB21 Ambassadors: Benoit Lambert – Belgium 🇧🇪
I am a hot air balloon pilot for 20 years, I began in 2000. I have more than 1300 hours of flight experience. I have flown in a lot of countries : Belgium, Holland, France, Luxembourg, UK, Germany, Russia, USA, Canada, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, China, Japan, Malaysia, … long list 😉
My greatest record is the crossing of the sleeve with the most balloons passing on the same attempt, and the Great Line, the greatest number of balloons taking off in less than an hour.
I participate in the Grand Est Mondial Air Ballons since 1989, it was my father’s first participation (I was 8 years old). Several reasons make me come back: The people of Lorraine, the region, the very relaxed atmosphere, and one can afford to fly with more wind when everything is mowed down 🙂
When we fly in the middle of all these balloons, we can only feel at peace. My favorite moment during #GEMAB is the arrival day, we meet our friends, the organization, the family.
If you’re a balloon pilot and have never been to Chambley, don’t die a fool, and trying it is adopting it! 😍
