Grand Est Mondial Air Ballons 2021
From 23rd July to 1st August, 2021
One of the greatest moments of the #GEMAB: the big takeoff in line of hundreds of hot-air balloons in the sky of Chambley! It is also a world record with 456 hot-air balloons lined up on the takeoff area (Guinness World Records), a record to be beaten during the 17th edition from July 23rd to August 1st 2021.
Sunday July 25th (morning)
Every day, morning and evening, several hundred hot-air balloons take to the air to offer an extraordinary show to the Grand Est Mondial Air Ballons’ visitors. Between the two take-offs, there are more than 50 animations on the ground and in the air to animate your day!
Every day, morning and evening
A magical moment for the whole family: the balloons line up in the night and illuminate their envelopes with the light of their burners’ flames. A festival of colorful bubbles to light up your evening at #GEMAB.
Wednesday July 28th
The baskets line up on the runway and activate their burners to the rhythm of the music. The evening flight is cancelled? Don’t worry, you won’t leave without having had your fill of it!
If, by any chance, it doesn’t fly!
Just like a flea market, the pilots set up their stands at the entrance of the pilots’ passage. Pins, caps, jackets, aeronautical material… A great opportunity to make good deals!
