The 2019 edition of #GEMAB19 is based on dreams, passion, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. But above all, the determination, supported each time by partners, over 200, who gathered around the event, Wednesday 19th June, at the Hôtel de Région in Metz. With less than 40 days to go before the start.
This year, Grand Est Mondial Air Balloons celebrates its 30th anniversary. A great growth for an event that was supposed to exist only once in 1989! And yet today the 16th edition of the event is being prepared, scheduled from July 26th to August 04th, 2019 on Chambley aerodrome.
A success that sometimes makes its founder, Philippe Buron Pilâtre, dizzy, who acknowledges that “if this event has been able to take off and continue, it is also thanks to the support of all its partners”. Numerous and faithful partners, sometimes since the first edition, who have strengthened the organizers of #GEMAB19 in their determination and their entrepreneurial willingness.
Less than 40 days before the event, Pilâtre de Rozier Organisation took the opportunity of an evening to bring together these companies, collectivities and institutions that make it possible, every two years, to bring the temporary balloon city out of the ground, spreading its amazing influence throughout the world. Thanks to this support, the entrance and parking are offered to 400 000 spectators from all over the world for 10 days.
On the programme of this meeting of the Partners’ Circle, discovery or rediscovery of the Grand Est Mondial Air Ballons, 
novelties planned for this anniversary edition, presentation of the event ambassadors around the world. An evening in a friendly atmosphere to meet, exchange and discuss around the same event that brings people together and creates links.
The President of the Grand Est Region, Jean ROTTNER, also reiterated the Regional Council support for the Grand Est Mondial Air Ballons. Referring to the construction of a transparent, benevolent and positive partnership, President ROTTNER celebrated “a human adventure led in concert by many actors, who, knowing how to work over the long term, make it possible to spread the Grand Est territory and its wealth beyond France borders, and to make it a world showcase“.
