Many of you ask us when the 17th edition of the Grand Est Mondial Air Ballons #GEMAB21 will be held. Since its creation in 1989, the event has always (or almost) taken place, the last week of July, every odd year.
After the pandemic we have just experienced on the planet, we feel very happy that this will not happen until next year and we have a deep thought for our friends, victims this year of the coronavirus, who are forced to postpone their fiesta to a later date.
For the time being, we are actively working on the preparation of the event which is still being held on Chambley aerodrome (LFJY) between Metz and Nancy (Grand Est – France).
We will officially open on Friday July 23 to close on Sunday August 1, 2021.
Ten days of aerial celebration, with a slogan “Aim High”. An entire agenda.
Registration for the pilots will be open for July 21, 2020.
