A colourful Ballonville public

Since its creation, GEMAB has devoted a large part of its organisation to the setting up of activities both on the ground and in the air. From the East and West car parks, the Boulevard Antoine de Saint Exupéry stretches for more than a kilometre with 3 important viewpoints on the flight area: the pilots’ passage, the esplanade and the balcony. In addition to the 6 hangars (hot-air balloons, helicopters, aeroplanes, gliders and Ulm), visitors (up to 500,000 in 2019) can visit the Aeromuseum and attend conferences, buy souvenirs at the official shop, book first flights, try out flight simulators, discover the exhibitors’ village, take part in the air workshops, find out about the history of the GEMAB, and from the central stage, every day before 5pm, win 3 first flights in a hot air balloon.
