Visit of our Swiss ambassador Thomas Seiz

More usually in spring or summer, which allows them to make a short balloon flight and refuel in our superb propane station, foreign pilots never hesitate to stop at the Chambley airfield. They are rarer to come and meet us in winter. It was therefore a great pleasure to welcome him on Saturday 5 March. Thomas, one of our ambassadors, has been a pilot since 1988. He has flown more than 1000 hours in Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, Myanmar (formerly Burma) and Iceland. He has been a regular at the GEMAB since 1999, with a fond memory of flying over the Montsec, an American monument not far from the Lac de la Madine.
