What to do between the morning and evening balloon flights ?
Many people are asking what can be done on the Chambley airfield during the GEMAB ? Indeed, the morning flight takes place around 7:00am and the evening flight not before 7:00pm. For a family with children, the question arises. And yet for more than 20 years, some fifty activities have been offered to visitors. Often free and always related to aeronautics. First of all, there are the permanent activities (Ulm, aeroplane, glider, hot-air balloon, helicopter) with visits and also the possibility to do first flights. But also the AeroMuseum with lectures and the virtual reality balloon flight. There is also the Sports Village, the Artisans’ Village and the Air Workshops. For the little ones there is the “teddy flight” where the little ones can fly “their teddy” in a mini balloon. The main animation is also to be able to get into the belly of the ball. This is a great opportunity to have a wonderful day.
