Many pilots dream of finding a place to stay close to the site. A few editions ago the organization decided to create a place on the site where the pilots can pitch their tent, their caravan in what was nicknamed the pilots’ square. More than 600 balloonists stay there for ten days. Depending on the nationality, some crews gather to live the adventure together. The organizers provide electricity, showers, toilets and garbage collection for a large part of the participants. A perfect organization followed by the famous Jean Louis who seriously watches over this small planet.
