What to do apart from the balloon flights

17 Apr 2023

The balloons fly very early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Between the two daily mass ascents, the public who rush to the Chambley airfield can find many animations, exhibitions, workshops (and first flights in other aircrafts). They can visit the AeroMusée, attend conferences on the history of hot air ballooning, see films on balloons, take the controls of flight simulators, discover the exhibitions of military equipment (3rd Regiment of combat helicopters of Etain, the Navy and the air force with the BA 133 of Nancy Ochey. They can discover what goes on in the aeronautical hangars (maintenance workshops, aerial photography etc.). Of course, the youngest ones can fly their teddies in the mini balloons or enter the belly of a balloon. A rich panel of (not only) aeronautical entertainment is proposed.
