Two days ahead of schedule, the first preparations for #GEMAB23 got underway on Saturday, June 24, in bright sunshine. By Monday, some 40 people will be at the table for lunch. The work will start with the bagging of straw bales, then the fences (4000 meters), the bungalows, the tents, the electricity…. No fewer than 150 semi-trailers will be delivering their equipment right up to the day before the opening on July 21 at 09:00. According to a ritual that has been perfectly organized for many years, the gigantic puzzle should find its place. The big unknown is whether the weather will remain the same, although the extreme heat can sometimes be suffocating.
