What we call “shaped balloons” are balloons with an original appearance. Beethoven’s head, a minaret, a champagne bottle, bees or Darth Vader. This year, no less than a dozen original examples will mingle with traditional balloons to the delight of young and old alike. If you want to see them up close, we advise you to mass on the Esplanade or on the Balcon, where they’ll be taking off from. We’re not going to tell you the names of the balloons, so you can be surprised to see them in real life.
