L’équipe de France de montgolfières a atteint les profondeurs du classement lors de la dernière édition du 18è Championnat d’Europe de montgolfières remporté par le Lituanien Rokas Kostiuskevicius, suivi par son père Rimas. Le 3è est l’Espagnol Ivan Ayala Alcalde. Quant aux Français, François Messines pointe à la 30è place, devant Stéphane Bolze (36), Nicolas Schwartz (40) et Patrick Legendre (52). Le championnat s’est déroulé du 9 au 14 septembre à Wloclawek (Pologne).
