24 candidates for the 2020/2021 BIA promotion
The 6th graduating class for the BIA degree (Aeronautical Initiation Certificate) on Chambley aerodrome counts 24 students. A strong participation of students from the Jean Zay high school and apprentice training center of Jarny (Meurthe-et-Moselle). It is a good thing in this year of the creation of the campus of careers and qualifications of excellence. From January 2020 the Grand Est Airport Training Facility (GREAT) is bringing together the Chambley aerodrome (LFJY) and the Jean Zay high school and apprentice training center of Jarny.
With all the usual precautions in times of pandemic, they visited this Wednesday the facilities of Ulm, glider, plane, plane and helicopter maintenance as well as the hot-air balloon hangar with the Aeromuseum. The final and national examination with a title awarded by the Ministry of National Education and Ecological Transition in charge of Transport will take place in May 2021 after some 60 hours of theoretical training.
