The Great East of France: a leading region for ballooning
With Alsace, Lorraine, Champagne-Ardenne, the Grand Est region has a good fifteen federal instructors and more than 150 hot-air balloon pilots. Since the 1990s, these regions (which are now one) have largely participated in the development of aerostation alongside the Northern region. With the imminent European transformation of the aerostation world, last Thursday and Friday, federal instructors were able to follow a two-day video-conference seminar on this reform, which impacts the training, obtaining and maintaining of qualifications.
