Discovery classes for schoolchildren
Except for pandemic periods, we welcome, each year, nearly a thousand children from kindergarten to junior high school for discovery days. This project is supported by the French National Education and the Lorraine Regional Nature Park. The program includes a 6-minute film presenting hot-air ballooning, followed by the possibility of participating in the inflation (indoor) of a real balloon and, above all, of being able to enter inside the envelope, as if in the basket. The children are then invited to a treasure hunt in the AéroMusée to discover the history (and in particular the balloon), the making of mini paper balloons and finally a workshop on the properties of air. From 09:00 am to 04:00 pm, the day is busy, cut by a lunch break (drawn from the bag). Many schools in Lorraine take advantage of this unforgettable experience.
