Six out of seven students passed their theoretical exam to become a hot-air balloon pilot. The 7th should appear in the coming days. This concludes the theoretical training program started last September. Now it’s time for hours of practical training aboard a hot air balloon and the hope of being definitely patented before the end of the summer. To train a hot air balloon pilot with the European reform of April 2021, it is necessary to follow a theoretical program of at least fifty hours and to make more than 20 ascents of at least 16 hours including a solo flight. And it usually lasts almost a year.
