As every year, the French Aerostation Federation, the smallest aeronautical federation with less than 1000 members, will hold its general assembly in Paris, in March. It gathers both pilots and trainee pilots, but also sympathizers. As a sports federation, it depends both on the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Among its activities, training assistance, representation to official bodies, championships (national, European and world). There is also a federation of professional pilots, the CNPPA, which is more focused on the commercial activity of passenger transport.
