The first Concorde pilot on the GEMAB 99

It was one of the dreams of the organizers of the GEMAB to be able to welcome as guest of honor the first pilot of Concorde. André Turcat (1921-2016) polytechnician test pilot remains forever a figure of aeronautics for having, in company of 3 other crew members, first flown the magic white bird that was Concorde on March 2, 1969 from the airport of Toulouse Blagnac. He flew this plane for the last time on March 31, 1976. He is also the holder of many aeronautical records. We owe him the creation of the Air and Space Academy. During his stay in Chambley, he was able to captivate journalists and pilots with his stories.
