🇫🇷 Les yeux rivés sur l’Espace

Difficile d’échapper dans l’actualité aux exploits qui se déroulent actuellement et depuis quelques mois dans l’Espace. On attend avec impatience le retour programmé de la gloire nationale @Thomas Pesquet, après six mois dans l’Espace. Avant de partir, il va croiser dans l’ISS, un nouvel arrivant, spationaute européen, né en Sarre (Allemagne) qui a fait ses études dans une école d’ingénieurs de Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle). Quel va être l’avenir de Pesquet ? Peut-être un ticket pour un voyage vers la Lune avant 2030 ? Je suis persuadé qu’il en rêve. Quant aux 3 chinois qui viennent d’arriver dans leur station spatiale, ils vont avoir fort à faire avec la construction d’une partie des deux autres modules de Tianhe (Harmonie céleste). Ils devraient également effectuer une ou deux sorties extravéhiculaires au cours des six mois.

Dans le domaine du tourisme spatial, les 3 concurrents que sont Richard Branson, Elon Musk et Jeff Bezos continuent de s’agiter et de rendre possible le vol spatial au plus grand nombre (à condition d’être fortuné pour l’heure). 

Toujours dans l’Espace, on dispose désormais de quatres systèmes de navigation avec Beidou (Chine), Galileo (Europe), le traditionnel GPS (USA) sans oublier Glonass (Russie). De quoi améliorer la géolocalisation avec nos smartphones.

🇬🇧 Eyes turned toward Space

It’s hard to escape the news about the exploits that are currently taking place and have been taking place for the past few months in space. We are impatiently awaiting the scheduled return of the national hero @Thomas Pesquet, after six months in Space. Before leaving, he will meet a new arrival in the ISS, a European astronaut, born in Saarland (Germany) who studied at an engineering school in Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle). What will be Pesquet’s future? Perhaps a ticket for a trip to the Moon before 2030? I’m sure he’s dreaming about it. As for the three Chinese who have just arrived in their space station, they will have their work cut out for them with the assembly of part of the two other Tianhe modules (Celestial Harmony). They are also expected to perform one or two spacewalks over the next six months.

In the field of space tourism, the three competitors, Richard Branson, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, continue to agitate and make space flight possible for as many people as possible (provided they are wealthy at the moment). 

Still in space, we now have four navigation systems with Beidou (China), Galileo (Europe), the traditional GPS (USA) and Glonass (Russia). This will improve geolocation with our smartphones.
