🇫🇷 Et c’est reparti pour une année

Les mois de novembre et de décembre ne sont pas toujours propices à l’envol des montgolfières. Et cette année, les conditions météorologiques ont été particulièrement maussades. Alors les pilotes voient avec plaisir le retour des manifestations organisées en montagne. Ce fut d’abord Praz sur Arly et surtout à la fin du mois de janvier le célèbre rendez-vous de Château D’Oex (Suisse) où près de 80 ballons vont se retrouver sur les pistes de la station. On y va y côtoyer de nombreux étrangers, mais aussi des Français avec certainement un passage de Bertrand Piccard, venu en voisin et surtout en connaisseur de Château d’Oex puisque c’est ici qu’en 1999, il avait décollé pour son tour du monde à bord du Breitling 3.  Finalement le printemps n’est pas si loin. 

🇬🇧 Here we go again for another year

The months of November and December are not always conducive to hot air ballooning. And this year, the weather conditions were particularly gloomy. So the pilots are happy to see the return of the events organized in the mountains. It was first Praz sur Arly and especially at the end of January the famous meeting of Château D’Oex (Switzerland) where nearly 80 balloons will meet on the slopes of the resort. Many foreigners will be there, but also French balloonists with certainly a passage of Bertrand Piccard, come as a neighbor and especially as a connoisseur of Château d’Oex since it is here that in 1999, he had taken off for his round-the-world flight on board the Breitling 3. Finally spring is not so far away.
