🇫🇷 Les 40 ans des constructeurs

Ils sont plus d’une vingtaine de constructeurs de montgolfières à travers le monde, répartis sur tous les continents. Il y a bien sûr les majors comme Cameron (Angleterre), Schroeder (Allemagne), Kubicek (République Tchèque), Head (USA), UltraMagic (Espagne), Kavannagh (Australie), Chaize (France – Annonay) et Pilâtre de Rozier (Lorraine). Bien entendu certains petits constructeurs existent aux USA ainsi que des constructeurs amateurs.  D’autres fabricants ont disparu dans les années 2000, victimes de la crise. Ils sont tous nés dans les années 1980 et fêtent donc leurs quarante ans d’existence avec plusieurs dizaines de milliers de ballons construits. Aujourd’hui la réglementation européenne régit la fabrication, la maintenance et l’entretien de ces aérostats, en harmonie avec la réglementation américaine. C’est un marché de niche, mais qui sait se renouveler, inventer et innover.

There are more than twenty balloon manufacturers throughout the world, spread over all continents. There are of course the majors like Cameron (England), Schroeder (Germany), Kubicek (Czech Republic), Head (USA), UltraMagic (Spain), Kavannagh (Australia), Chaize (France – Annonay) and Pilâtre de Rozier (Lorraine). Of course some small manufacturers exist in the USA as well as amateur manufacturers. Other manufacturers disappeared in the 2000s, victims of the crisis. They were all born in the 1980s and are celebrating their forty years of existence with several tens of thousands of balloons built. Today, European regulations govern the manufacture, maintenance and servicing of these aerostats, in harmony with American regulations. It is a niche market, but one that knows how to renew itself, invent and innovate.
