Future pilots and/or mechanics
Every year, we are asked to welcome junior high school students for a work experience programme. In order to offer them a 360° view of the activities and careers practiced on the Chambley aerodrome (LFJY), the Reunion of Based Aeronautical Users (AUAB) coordinates this reception. Last week we received 3 students from Contrexéville, Sillegny and Thiaucourt. Two of them are already well determined to pursue a career in aeronautics, while the third is still thinking about it. On Monday they discovered the world of hot-air balloons, on Tuesday the planes, on Wednesday the ULM, on Thursday aircraft maintenance and aerial photography, and on Friday to end their week, they were at the Control Tower with the aerodrome manager.
