When your luck is out, it’s really out!
The weather forecast for the last few days announced a return to good weather i.e. a good chance to see multicoloured bubbles back in the air. But in a few hours, the situation turned out to be different. Sunshine yes, but the wind is clearly increasing, exceeding by far the 20 km/h (10 knots) acceptable for a hot-air balloon. So all the dreams of a resumption of flight training activities burned away last Friday. Hot air ballooning is a school of patience, so against bad luck, good heart, pilots and students look forward to the coming week as well as next weekend. Can’t wait for the arrival of spring.
