Pilâtre de Rozier Aerostats

The adventure started in the early 1990s. With Jacques Llopis who had left the Manufacture Française de Montgolfières in Reims to lead this beautiful project: to manufacture hot-air balloons under the Pilâtre de Rozier brand, which first prototype was released in June 1993. In 2002, Jacques had taken his independence, even if we remained strongly attached to this factory. In 2016, the Nouvelle Manufacture d’Aérostats took over the reins until 2019. As the company closed its doors, we wanted to ensure that the 140 or so hot-air balloons still in operation did not become orphans. Together with EASA and Pilâtre de Rozier, we have just succeeded. The transfer of the type certificate [EASA.BA.119] of the five models of MA-18 to MA-35 hot-air balloons was officially confirmed on 15 April 2021 by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). You can count on us to ensure continuing airworthiness compliance of PILÂTRE DE ROZIER AEROSTATS. In this respect, we recommend the services of our partner L’Atelier de la Montgolfière (CAMO approved) in Witry-lès-Reims.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
