Mobilization for the GEMAB
Every two years, in July, the current activity of Pilâtre de Rozier Organisation is put on hold to make room for the Mondial Air Ballons. Passenger flights, training flights, the AeroMuseum, communication, give way to the priority which is the preparation of the event. The premises are being transformed to accommodate the material that will be used to build the “balloon city”. Every square metre became a storage space. This is the tsunami of July. In a few days (for July 14th), the rhythm will become infernal and it will be time to sleep on the spot. The 3,000 square metres of offices and hangars will live at GEMAB time for 240 intense hours.
