It’s time to go back to school
Becoming a balloon pilot! Many people ask us about the possibility of becoming a balloon pilot. Often, after having flown as a passenger, you think that it would be a good idea to become a balloon pilot. The recent reform of the European regulations has changed the training pathway with an increase in administrative red tape. However, divided into two parts: theory and practice, the training takes place over a good year (depending on the weather). During the autumn and winter (less favourable for flights), it is the opportunity to follow the theoretical programme (nearly 60 hours). So here we go again for a new class of the International School of Aerostation (EIA), the Pilâtre de Rozier DTO 2021/2022.
