Chambley airfield and the aviation festival
Like many sites in France, for the second year running, the Chambley airfield (LFJY) will be taking part in the aviation festival from 25 to 27 September. Ulm, paraglider, plane and hot air balloon clubs’ members will rally to promote aviation. For the Association des Usagers Aéronautiques Basés (AUAB), it is a reminder that, along with the Jean Zay high school, the Chambley platform is also a campus of excellence, that four maintenance workshops and training centres operate all year round with aeronautical companies and associations that bring together nearly 200 pilots, students and trainees, as well as several hundred sympathizers of associations.
