It’s back to school at the EIA: six new trainees
Six new trainees made their return to school on Saturday at the International School of Aerostation (EIA) on the Chambley airfield. This is the second promotion of the DTO (Declared Training Organization), a new European structure for training organizations in the aeronautical world, since April 8th 2021. The new programme requires about fifty hours of theoretical training and about twenty flights with an instructor for the practical part. The theoretical exam is now taken with the DGAC. Nearly 100 French and foreign students have already been trained at Pilâtre de Rozier since 1985.
