Annual closure of the Pilâtre de Rozier Aeromuseum

As every year at the same time, the Pilâtre de Rozier Aeromuseum on the Chambley airfield will close its doors on October 15th. It will reopen in April 2022. It will therefore be necessary to wait for the return of the good weather to discover the new Michael Collins space and try their hand at virtual piloting on board the gondola that has been in place for two years.

It will be 14 years in 2022 that the aeromuseum was created and that it allows visitors to discover the history of the Chambley base and of aerostation since 1783. Before its annual closure, some twenty teachers from schools in the Verdun district (Meuse) were welcomed as part of their in-service training in science and technology in partnership with the Lorraine Regional Nature Park
