Finally a year without a pandemic… or almost
2020 and 2021 were two difficult years for the organisation of major aviation (and other) events. Fortunately, GEMAB21 was able to benefit from a small lull, even if it had to face the implementation of the health pass. But many other events had to be postponed. Since the beginning of the year, the organisers have been announcing the dates of the events. If there are hundreds of events of about twenty hot-air balloons in the world, the club of gatherings of about one hundred balloons is smaller, probably about fifty. Only two, GEMAB and Albuquerque, exceed 500.
