Finding the budget, marketing the product, writing a story that makes pilots, crews, media and partners dream. There’s also a healthy dose of humor when you consider the number of texts, notices, decrees, laws and orders governing the air and land parts of the business. Communicating with the media and pilots, convincing an organization to stand at attention for 15 days in the middle of a vacation period. Negotiate with all partners, including the farming community. Trembling because weather is not an exact science, and it’s hard to imagine what the weather will be like 24 months later. Drawing a jigsaw puzzle on a plan that has to match the reality on the ground. And finally, imagine the worst, because we need to guarantee that everything will go well, in the name of the precautionary principle. Such is the challenge facing those who would like to embark on such an adventure.
