The first pilots trained in the Pilâtre de Rozier training center began in 1985. They were 20/25 years old at that time and are now almost 40 years older. If some of them continue to fly on board their balloon, they have also passed on their virus to their children. In the next edition of the Mondial, we will see the new generation taking to the skies under the watchful eye of their parents. After the baby boomers who started it all in the 1970s, Generation X is about to pass the torch to Generation Y. A great hope in this year celebrating the 240 years of the history of the balloon.
