Virtual Reality is on place inside the AéroMusée !

3 May 2019

The AéroMusée is a museum seen as a magical place, situated on Chambley aerodrome, dedicated to the ballooning history. On almost 450m2, this cabinet of curiosities holds many rare pieces related to the balloon and offers a unique discovery of the American Chambley Air Base history exhibition. Walking in the museum, every visitor can discover the world of ballooning through baskets, photographs, art work, memorable personalities, exceptional objects…

And this year, the AéroMusée welcomes an important new activity: virtual reality!

Come in and take place, put on the virtual reality headset which is going to bring you into new dimension, step over the basket and fly at your own pace: you are the pilot for a day of this amazing experience. Be aware of the equipment surrounding you, get acquainted with this new technical environment made available for anyone… Are you ready? Then, here we go, activate the burner, find the good altitude, follow the direction and land softly. Do not forget to pay attention to the landscape all around you, the view is incredible, et pay attention also to your sensations!

An attraction which is the result of months of work in conjunction with experienced pilots’ cooperation to give the best record of a hot air balloon behavior and promises real sensations guaranteed, while mastering pilots’ technical movements.

A new adventure which is waiting for you inside the AéroMusée, every day:

  • From Monday to Friday, from 9:30am to 12:30am and from 1:30pm to 4:30pm
